Being that Livestock Wealth is at the driving seat of redefining the meaning of investment and wealth creation in Africa, The Makolobane farm in partnership with Makolobane Farmers Enterprises holds true to our values of pride, farming and wealth. It is owned by the Zoopjesfontein Farmers Trust, which is managed by the Sekhoto family and lies in the panoramic splendour of a town in Eastern Free State called Senekal.
Set on 2193 hectares of land and on the banks of the Sand River, the farm boasts planted pastures of 150 hectares; 1300 hectares of grazing land; sandy loam soil, with the Livestock Wealth herd totalling 40. Owing to its enviable climate, crisp air and clear star-studded skies, the farm is also home to Ayrshire cattle, apple orchards, Boran and Charolaise beef cattle as well as maize and sunflowers. Over and above that, the Makolobane farm is enveloped by an agricultural community and a town which is rich in history.
