Set against the backdrop of the majestic Drakensberg mountains, this 1800-hectare farm is located along the R617 road on the way to Kokstad from Underberg. It has approximately 250 hectares of dry land maize and a carrying capacity of 800 free-range cattle of which, it currently has a Livestock Wealth herd of 449 commercial cattle.
The little town of Kokstad sits on the boundary between KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape, and is popular for its cheese production, rivers and dams, that provide ample opportunity for trout-fishing and hiking for our investors. It is built on the outer slopes of the Drakensberg mountains and lies beneath the shadow of Mount Currie. Over and above that, the farm is 1,302 m above sea level, receives on average 800mm of rainfall annually and is nestled within a predominantly livestock farming community.
